The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit provides specialized care for patients requiring continuous monitoring of their cardiac and vital signs. This role involves closely monitoring patients' conditions, interpreting telemetry data, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Monitoring patients post-cardiac procedures (e.g., angioplasty, pacemaker insertion)
Managing patients with heart failure
Monitoring and treating arrhythmias
Post-operative care for patients with cardiac surgeries
Medication management for cardiac patients
Providing education to patients and families on heart health
Collaborating with cardiologists and other specialists for patient care plans
Continuous telemetry monitoring for critical patients
Assessing and managing chest pain
Administering IV medications for cardiac conditions
