The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical Surgical unit plays a vital role in the comprehensive care of patients admitted for medical and surgical treatments. This position requires a dedicated professional with a strong foundation in nursing principles, acute care expertise, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Post-operative care management
Wound care and dressing changes
Pain management
IV therapy administration
Medication administration and monitoring
Patient and family education
Collaborative care with interdisciplinary team
Assessment and monitoring of vital signs
Management of drainage systems (e.g., NG tubes, catheters)
Discharge planning and coordination of care
